Dry/Kibble
Our cats and kittens enjoy Royal Canin kibble and wet food. The kittens (and lactating mothers) eat Royal Canin Mother & Babycat kibble until they are 4 months old. They then switch to Royal Canin Kitten wet and dry food.
this grain-free kibble by Farmina is also excellent. This Adult Indoor kibble by Royal Canin is a great option too.
-

Wet/Raw
Royal Canin Mother and BabyCat Ultra Soft Mousse in Sauce Canned Wet Food is what our kittens are on, along with the matching kibble, before they are adopted. For a smooth transition, you may want to have this food on hand at your home for your kitten. When they turn 4 months old you can transition them to the Royal Canin Kitten Food if you like. As they grow into adulthood, this Royal Canin Adult wet food is great.

Supplements
The following are good supplements to integrate into your cat’s diet: Purina FortiFlora Probiotic, and Bene-Bac Plus Prebiotic Powder.
Taurine, lysine, probiotics & dry pumpkin are crucial supplements for a cat on a raw diet. Talk to your vet about what feline supplements they like and recommend.

Meat Grinders
If you do decide to feed your Siberian cat a raw diet, here are some good meat grinders that I recommend:
-

Churu Cat Treats
A great way to bond with your new kitten is to offer them treats. Believe me, they will love you if you offer them a Churu. These are cats all-time favorite!
Furniture
-

Mau Pets
Siberians are very active and love to be up high. I recommend having at least two cat tower/trees for each cat. This is a medium size cat tree that is beautiful and sturdy. Mau Pets is my favorite brand. Not only are they sleek and beautiful but they are very sturdy and designed to withstand larger cat breeds of up to 25lbs.
-

Cat House
Kittens love love love cozy small spaces to curl up in. My kittens and cats love this cat house. Place some flannel plush blankets inside or a plush cat bed inside and your kitten will be very happy to sleep in there. This is the brand I have: BIRDROCK Cat House
-

Cat Tree Condo
This 3-in-1 cat tower/cubby/scratching post is amazing. You can find it on Amazon: Cat Condo

Grooming Supplies
-

Chris Christensen Slicker Brush
Two words: Chris Christensen. For all my grooming supplies I prefer the Chris Christensen line. I have landed on this brand through trial and error. It is phenomenal, and by far my absolute favorite. All their brushes, combs, and bathing products are top of the line. They are worth the investment, believe me! Siberians shed their winter coat in the spring - daily brushing will help with this heavy shedding period. For kittens, this extra small size is awesome. The Chris Christensen Slicker Brush. And here is a tinier one, that I love to use for the kittens. For smaller, tricker parts like the face and feet, I love the Chris Christensen Face and Feet Buttercomb #006.

Chris Christensen Ice on Ice Line - Shampoo, Conditioner, and Detangler
Weekly or monthly baths are recommended for your kitten. When I bathe my Siberians, these are the products that I use every single time (along with the Monat deodorizing spray) and they smell fantastic. I hear frequently from families that their Royal Grace Siberian smells amazing on adoption day. Well, this is why! :) These are the products that I use and recommend. The Ice on Ice line by Chris Christensen is specifically for white cats. 1. The Chris Christensen Clean Start Shampoo is a clarifying shampoo that gets rid of any oils, greasy looking fur, dirt, etc. I always start with this product first. 2. Next, I go in with the Chris Christensen White on White Whitening Treatment Shampoo. This is great for any discolorations on their collar area from eating wet food or any yellow looking spots on their feet or fur. I then finish with the 3. Chris Christenson Ice on Ice Detangling Conditioner. This product smells the BEST.
Siberians generally like water but this can vary depending on the individual cat — There are several excellent YouTube video tutorials on how to give your cat a bath.
After I have blow-dried my cat, I spray them with the Chris Christensen Ice on Ice Detangler and Finishing Spray.
The detangling shampoo works well too. You can get it all as a set here too.

Nail Trimmers
Trimming your kitten’s nails will help reduce any damage to your home decor, here is an affordable set off Amazon that I like: Cat Nail Trimmer And I also use and like these ones. Under no circumstances may you ever declaw your cat! In my Agreement Contract that we both sign before the adoption process, declawing the cat is strictly prohibited under any circumstances. Please research about the harm caused by declawing practices.
-

Cat Grooming Dryer
Siberians triple coat can take a very long time to dry completely, so a pet blow dryer can be very helpful for getting them dry quicker. I use the Shelandy Pet Grooming Dryer. This is very powerful. A regular blow dryer from your bathroom does the job as well, it just takes a little longer.
Food Dishes & Water Fountains
-

Stainless Steel Water Fountain
Running water is healthier for cats and encourages them to drink more often which is important because cats tend to not drink enough water, leading to feline dehydration. I highly recommend getting a cat water fountain, especially a stainless steel one. Here is an affordable option off Amazon that my cats like: Stainless Steel Water Fountain
-

PetLibro Water Fountain
This white PetLibro water fountain is excellent and links to you phone.
-

Veken Cat Fountain
Another good water fountain: Veken Cat Fountain
-

Cat Dishes
Cats develop “Whisker Fatigue” if they eat out of bowls, this is due to their whiskers touching the sides of their food bowl. Please use flatter dishes like plates. Ceramic and stainless steel is best. Here is a cute set: Stainless Steel Cat Dishes. This is another set that is aesthetically beautiful and if the kibble is always filled to the top, it will not affect their whiskers.
Litter Boxes & Litter
-

Litter Robot
Litter Robot I cannot recommend a Litter Robot enough. You never have to scoop litter with this. It is extremely quiet when cycling, detects any weight of cat, so kittens can use this, and it is Wi-Fi enabled. There are some off-brand alternative options to this one but I highly recommend investing in the Litter Robot brand, as it is the best: Litter Robot
-

Dr Elsey Litter
Please use a clumping unscented litter in your Litter Robot or any litter box that you use. For my litter robots I only use the Litter Robot brand litter now. After trying several different brands, I discovered that there was some litter clumping to the sides of the machine and other annoyances. The Litter Robot brand is incredible, and I have had zero issues since switching to their brand. This is a great affordable option too: Dr Elsey Litter
-

Tidy Cats Litter
Here is another good option: Tidy Cats Clumping Unscented Litter
-

PetLibro Automatic Litter Box
This PetLibro automatic litter box is excellent as well, and slightly cheaper than the Litter Robot.

I highly recommend this one, if you want to keep it simple and affordable. Here is a low-sided stainless steel litter box for kittens. And here is a completely enclosed litter box (with a lid) if you prefer those.
-

Pine Pellets Cat Litter
If you prefer pine pellets, this is a great option that my cats have used in basic litter boxes and liked. It can be used as compost or in your garden soil, if you are into gardening! Another brand that I have used and liked as well
Toys & Carriers
-

Cat Carrier
Please bring this with you when you come to pick up your kitten! Especially if you and kitten will be traveling by airplane. They come in a variety of colors. These soft cat carriers are perfect for vet visits and this is the one my kittens are familiar with. I highly recommend this one: Cat Carrier for Vet Visits and Car Rides. Here is a hard-sided cat carrier that is good as well, if you prefer those. This will work well for your kitten as they grow bigger, into an adult cat.
